FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
New York, NY — November 18, 2025
Situation Group announced it has been named a Silver Winner in the Networking or Community Organizations category, under Community Engagement: Education, Art & Culture, at the 5th Annual Anthem Awards for its Inaugural Intern Summit — a program designed to open doors, build networks, and champion the next generation of diverse storytellers and cultural leaders.
The Intern Summit, an initiative of Situation Project, brought together interns from across the industry for a day of connection, inspiration, and honest conversation about building a career in the arts. The gathering leaned into one of the organization’s core commitments: creating more equitable pathways into the cultural sector.

Anthem Winners are selected by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences. Judges include leaders from the American Heart Association, DD.NYC®, the Gates Foundation, IKEA, Land O’Lakes, McCann Worldgroup, NAACP, Planned Parenthood, REI Co-op, TikTok, Tom’s of Maine, and more.
“This has been a challenging year for the impact sector, but the Winners of the 5th Annual Anthem Awards have shown their resilience and continued commitment to a better tomorrow,” said Anthem Awards General Manager Patricia McLoughlin. “This year’s winners are a source of hope, and I am excited to celebrate their work with the world today.”
“Our Intern Summit was built around one simple idea: the industry is stronger when more young people can see themselves in it,” said Samara Berger, Executive Director at Situation Project “It’s an honor to see the work recognized, but even more meaningful to see students feel a sense of belonging, possibility, and community. That’s what this is really about.”

The 5th Annual Anthem Awards received more than 2,000 submissions from 42 countries. By spotlighting the voices and organizations advancing social impact, the Anthem Awards continue to raise the bar for work that moves communities forward.
